Uptown Farmers Market

Charlotte, North Carolina

Uptown Farmers Market was launched in 2020 in center city Charlotte with a mission to engage our neighbors around locally grown fresh foods to support local farmers and food artisans, educate on nutrition, and eliminate food insecurity in the Charlotte community. As a producer-only market, it supports over 60 approved vendors selling fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meats, baked goods and other artisan foods, eggs, honey, flowers and plants, and natural skincare. Each week the Market hosts musicians, a food truck, children's activities, and cooking demos. The Market is a USDA retailer and provides Double Bucks weekly for SNAP users, and Triple Bucks once per month. The Market runs a senior shuttle program and is a host market for the NC Senior Farmers Market voucher program. Open every Saturday, 8:00am - 12:30pm during the primary season of April-December, and 10:00am - 12:00pm during the winter season January-March. Free parking, pet friendly.
